ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Washington DC and surrounding areas and having been raised in the Adventist church, I've incorporated our Christian beliefs during my, educational, professional, and academic journey.  

My creative and artistic journey started as a child, where I would develop my drawing skills by drawing portraits of people.  After my graduation from Takoma Academy in 1990, I was awarded an art scholarship at Southern Maryland Community College where I took several art classes and was taught several elements of art and design. I later moved on and attended Oakwood University but due to the lack of art concentration programs, I returned home just after staying 1 year.  I started taking professional pictures in 1998 and in 2008, started KTGworks Media, LLC, (a photography and video production company). I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) with a BS in Digital Media and Web Technology and joined Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), an International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 children when I don't have a camera nearby.
